Steps into Health and Social Care DVD

The East Midlands partnership has produced a DVD dedicated to health and social care. The resource comprises a compilation of four films, each focusing on four different professions, and lasting eight to ten minutes. Sponsored by the East Midlands healthcare strand, the films cover key information regarding each profession, including training, aspects of the job, routes for progression, rewards and pathways into the jobs.

The Steps into Health and Social Care DVD cost around £26 per copy. Please note that these costs included all project management of the production which included:

• Hire of professional audiovisual unit to film and produce a 10 minute film

• Production of 1000 DVD's with cases and associated printing and artwork costs

• Development and preparation of filming schedule including pre-production filming, post production, actor’s fees, overall quality control and project management

• Plus all ownership of the DVD footage copyright (and the ability to produce future copies of the DVD at cost)
